About Me

I worked creatively in the TV and Film industry for 16 years before training as a counsellor and then becoming a coach. I understand what it's like to be a woman, a mum, a leader, a business owner, to be self-employed and all the challenges that come with that.

Growing up I struggled with my confidence and self-belief. Despite being seen as strong and capable by others, I would often question myself. I never felt good enough, perfect enough, lacked confidence and would compare myself constantly to others in terms of personality or envy their achievements. It was exhausting! I really understand how debilitating these traits are and how they hold us back from feeling good about ourselves; how it stops us from feeling happy and relaxed and can majorly curtail our enjoyment of life, our careers and our relationships. Then I worked with a life coach because I was feeling lost and was at a crossroads in my life and it was a transformational experience. Some of the tools I learnt during those sessions are still with me today. This is why I feel so passionately about coaching women - it is a wonderful opportunity to help others.

I am a Barefoot trained coach and am accredited through the ICF (International Coaching Federation). I also hold a BA Hons in Person-centred counselling and am BACP registered. (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).

My free time is spent walking the dog, running, travelling (a couple of years ago we went to Japan which was on my bucket list for a long time and absolutely loved it!), reading a good book or watching a fab TV series or film. My most favourite thing of all though is spending time with my son or meeting up with friends for a good catch-up.
